(Denver, CO) September 2014 The Open Media Foundation (OMF), is pleased to announce a new upcoming class available to the public: the “Perfect Pitch” Digital Storytelling Bootcamp, starting on October 15th.  This class is a new, valuable resource to small business owners, and nonprofits, musicians and other artists.

The “Perfect Pitch” Digital Storytelling Bootcamp starting on October 15th is a three-part digital storytelling course, ending with a televised showcase of the stories – "The Perfect Pitch" – live on Friday, November 14th on Denver Open Media.  Participants of this course will produce a digital story about their small business or nonprofit over the course of three weeks in October, and have their stories voted on by the general public in the week prior to the show. The three stories with the highest vote total will be honored during “The Perfect Pitch" live TV show.

Previous participant Reina Knapp, Office Manager at The Legal Center for People with Disabilities and Older People, shares her experience with the workshop.  “My digital storytelling class experience at Open Media Foundation was educational, empowering and fun!  The instruction and friendly environment enabled me to gain an understanding of how to use combinations of computer-based tools to create a meaningful message to share.”
