The Open Media Foundation (OMF), a Denver nonprofit working to ensure community engagement through new media, is pleased to extend an invitation to the public for their annual Breakfast Fundraiser on May 13th, 2015. This years fundraiser invites the community to enjoy a free breakfast and learn more about the past year and future vision for the Open Media Foundation.
“Our largest event of the year, this free fundraising breakfast is a can’t-miss event for anyone interested in helping this community build a foundation for positive social change,” said Tony Shawcross, OMF’s Executive Director.
The event will take place from 7:30-8:30 am at the Mi Casa Resource Center located at 360 Acoma St. in Denver. Breakfast will be served and attendees will have an opportunity to donate to OMF at the end of the event, though no donation is required.
This annual fundraiser is essential in helping OMF secure the future of the services, training, and tools its provides to the community. All of the efforts of the organization wouldn’t be possible without the generosity and support of the public who believe that everyone should have a voice in this new media conversation.
