On behalf of the board and staff of the Open Media Foundation, we want to thank everyone who attended our annual breakfast fundraiser – A Higher Definition of Media – on Tuesday, May 20th. Special thanks to our Table Captains and volunteers who filled the room with over 250 people at the Mi Casa Resource Center for Women. The event raised $13,455 to support our services and training to nonprofits, governments, and individuals.
The morning opened with a wonderful introduction from Amy Goodman, followed by food, videos, and speeches from our new Board President, Sam Fuqua, and Youth Group members Jonah Lujan and Bailey Bermond.
